Have you ever wondered if Giraffes can swim?
During the 2020/21 lockdowns I joined a weekly online art class. In spring 2021 the instructor Kiro Tan in Malaysia challenged the students (mostly under age 10) to draw a giraffe. One of the students asked “Can giraffes swim? “ And in subsequent lessons, the story grew.
My mum was licked by a giraffe at the zoo when she was a child so this is a long line in a series of jokes to “surprise Nana with a giraffe!” I hope she treasures it forever!
